wtf with this DST? why do they have to do this? i mean can’t i decide when i want to give up an hr and when i can gain it back? what if i dont wanna gain an hour in freakin oct ryt? and i dont wanna lose an hr right now… i havent even done my taxes… is the irs gonna take my returns @1am on april 16? coz standard time … that’s april 15… actually no… let’s move it a min back.. coz midnight is already the next day… but yah… u get what i mean… anywayz i should be doing my taxes right now… its 415am which should only be 315… but im the only one up in this entire house coz i work graveyard and i cant even turn on the lights or my family will be waken up… sux… actually im just makin up excuses bcoz im not going to do taxes coz im lazy and scared to owe em… ok ms glass half empty… maybe ill get a refund… i gotta go put in this stupid turbo tax cd now… i used to do it myself but i got busier… older and dumber… hehe… ciao!

like i’ve told one of buds nelson who gave me a cd album of their band "chilitees" it is really nice to be a flip-i was so glad to read it from their album…it’s sad because i have to go away from the philippines for half of my life just to realize that. when i came back there last month i realized what i’ve been missing…friends,family,the good food, the big-ass malls, the traffic-which is hey not so bad as then, the fishballs,the taho in the morning, the knock-off branded goodies @greenhills for so cheap! ETC ETC!!! i did a good job on embracing my culture that my 2 luggages back was not enough. it contained lots of cologne, clothes, souvenirs like jeeps, carabaos, tricycle, kalesa(thanks rhea!)man in a barrel,i even left my parol@ my mom’s. i had so much fun eventhough my $ was only 48 instead of 50P.It wasn’t really about the money anyway- but it really feels good to afford all the stuff i couldnt buy back then… the feeling was priceless… trying to make out for myself each street and corner where i used to walk since it sure did change a lot after these many years— sometimes i feel like i may be the only one who didn’t change… lot of my friends said i am the same maureen— i was cussing a lot again… i wasn’t trying to be anyone im not i guess… maybe i didn’t grow at all… all these yrs im here in the states i’ve just been "preserved"— i dont really know if that’s good or bad to not grow or change a lot but if im still the 16 yr old girl who left the philippines in 1993 then so be it — either way, it feels great!

i guess i didnt have to blow someone to get the ps3… i just went to Target 10 mins after they open and woohoo… there was 2 ps3 in stock… and noh i didnt buy 2 since im not planning 2 give it as a gift to anyone else but my dear hubby! i’m just so happy… i wrapped it up already so he gets to open it on christmas– shoot! now im the only one w/o a damn presenT!… yeS, he knows already since i was so excited to tell him that i got a surprise for him… he figured it out i guess…oh well im just really happy… i think i have to thank Talladega Nights coz it comes out today and my ps3 has a blue ray disc of Talladega free… so my ps3 came out today too i guess… ok gtg sleep… i just wanna feel good and write about this… pat myself on my back "what a good wife u r" — ok now for the sex part… yah ryt!!!

the ps3 comes out today… geez what more do they want? i mean here i am willing to pay 600 bucks for the stupid console yet u have to still camp out of the store for nights… or pay double from ebay or something— like maybe blowing some nerd from eb =) which i am not gonna do… since this ps3 is for my hubby… damn target even advertised it on their newspaper insert ad and they know they’ll only be getting what? 8? of course i called and not camped out there in the cold weather… hello! oh well i guess hubby is just gonna have to wait! maybe it’ll go down?! haha i dont think so!

oh cali i miss u already!  it was a short but sweet reunion! im so glad within those 3 days i got to spend time with my close friends and family and my favorite flip foods. i’ll be back!

i dont care if i had to stay up and not get enough sleep just to see this movie on the 1st day… also, thanks to my wonderful kids who didn’t make any fuss or noise(ok maybe a little) in the movie theatre yesterday- and of course my dear loving husband who is the #1 superman fan. The movie was so great… how they made it and all… plus seein the spiderman3 trailer in the beginning just made my day. At first, I was so disappointed with this new guy Brandon coz i was rooting for my superboy tom welling to be the next superman… but mr brandon routh just pulled it off… with his height, body and even his voice… well he’s no christopher reeve but i would like to see him again on the next one… pls hurry up and make the next movie now… he did mention that we’ll see him around right?

it’s Nordstrom’s half yearly sale for women and children so they open at 8 today… i was lucky enough to be there at 8:30 and be one of the first ones to take advantage of the sale rack since i just got off work… BUT if i buy all these crap just bcoz it’s on sale, forget it i wont get to wear em… so i just bought whatever i want… shoESSS!!! i was actually gonna get these marc jacobs aviator sunglasses which was $90- cheaper than the diors and the pradas but i told myself… wait wait wait! $90 buck$?! for that price tag i could get 2 pairs of shoes… so i did! i got these really nice sandals for $50 and i just had to get these crocS since they’re so ugly they’re cute… and the glasses? F that… i got some generic ones for $12! what? those glaSses will be OuT next year… yup just like your bumble bee oneS!

i officially now have a 2 and a 5 yr old. morgan just turned 2 last thursday and maura’s been 5 since march30 so mga ninongs ang ninangs out there… time to pay up… just bcoz im far away… there’s means to send all y’all preSents… finally got a holiday after a long long time… we dont even know where to go… we were gonna go up to canada but that would be so exhausting with the drive and stayin a night or so.. so we decided to stay home and clean and maybe paint since white is too boring for me already. also, there r some great saLes out there so we might check out some stores esp the furnitures… maybe we can steal some deal. anyways, whatever ur plans this holiday… have fun and goodluck…  hopefully we finish up what we start esp with the housework… or we can just sit on the couch, watch tv and pig out… whatever makes u happy… whahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
